ArcelorMittal Montreal, a DLGL client for 17 years, now benefiting from all the advantages of V.I.P’s 8th Generation (8G)
It was 1995 when ArcelorMittal Montreal (formerly Sidbec-Dosco) selected V.I.P. to manage its day to day human resource and payroll activities. Over the years, acquisitions have transformed the company and this growth has brought about new challenges and more and more diverse operational requirements. Throughout, ArcelorMittal Montreal could always count on DLGL to meet these unique needs and ensure, with VIP, an elegant integration of all these new employee populations and their specificities.
More recently ArcelorMittal Montreal decided to move to 8G in order to take full advantage of V.I.P.’s 8th Generation. Users can now benefit from a comprehensive array of new tools and dashboards to quickly access all the information they need for their administrative and decision-making processes, all facilitated by a new intuitive interface, rich in content. Also, V.I.P. 8G opens the door to a series of new features for ArcelorMittal Montreal including mobile access, Manager and Employee Self-Service Portals, Talent Management, Workforce Management, etc.

ArcelorMittal Montreal is a steel producer with 11 locations in Quebec and Ontario. Our main production facilities are located at ArcelorMittalMontreal’s Contrecoeur (Quebec) headquarters, and include a direct reduction plant, two steel plants, a bar mill and a wire rod mill. Other facilities include a bar mill in Longueuil (Quebec), as well as the St. Patrick (Montreal,Quebec) and Hamilton- East (Ontario) wire mills. ArcelorMittal Montreal also operates steel recycling centres in Ottawa (Ontario), Contrecoeur and La Prairie (Quebec).
