The software company ranks for the 15<sup>th<\/sup> consecutive year as one of Canada\u2019s best managed companies. Over the next year it will make its software tools for human resources and payroll management easier to access via tablets and smartphones.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe concept is that employees can access our software themselves to enter their work time, overtime, next week\u2019s schedule, etc.\u201d,<\/em> company president and founder Jacques Gu\u00e9nette explains.<\/p>\n<p>Based in Blainville, D.L.G.L. offers V.I.P., a modular suite of human resources and payroll management software. From an integrated database, an organization can add from a series of flexible modules such as payroll or pension management, learning management or e-recruitment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\">D.L.G.L. IN NUMBERS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>$15 to 20 million<\/strong> in average annual revenues<\/li>\n<li><strong>25%<\/strong> of revenues from Quebec clients<\/li>\n<li><strong>70%<\/strong> of sales from the remaining Canadian provinces<\/li>\n<li><strong>5%<\/strong> of revenues from the U.S.<\/li>\n<li>Over <strong>500,000 <\/strong>current<strong> V.I.P. users<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>30%<\/strong> increase of users over the last 5 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"MsoNormal\">JACQUES GU\u00c9NETTE&#8217;S PHILOSOPHY<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"text-indent: -7.65pt; font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"text-indent: -7.65pt;\">&#8220;Instead of trying to create value for our shareholders first, we&#8217;ve inverted the pyramid by first creating value for our employees.\u00a0 They decide when to take their vacation, if they want to work at home on Friday afternoons, etc. Happy employees create value for our clients, and eventually they create value for our shareholders.&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Our formula must be the right one, I guess.
